On Saturday, August 5th, 3 courts of SYTC players dressed in smart tennis whites, enjoyed a late afternoon match using old fashioned wood racquets. All players quickly adjusted to the classic racquets for a fun and highly competitive Round Robin. After the rousing games, we all enjoyed a delectable cookout with chef Al Hero christening our clubs’ new gas grill cooking burgers, dogs, and Italian sausages. All members brought tasty appetizers, sides, and desserts to round out the feast. Great tennis, lots of laughs, and wonderful food made for a memorable summer evening for all. A big thank you to Pam Hero and her co-chair Sarah Silberman, Maureen Lambe, Patty Sakellis, Ellen Coffey and Alan Hero for all their time and efforts. Thank you to all our members and their guests who participated in the fun event!
