June 11th dawned warm and sunny for an enthusiastic group of SYTC members both new and seasoned who gathered for the first Round Robin and Brunch of the season. We filled all six courts for three rotations of entertaining “get to know you” tennis, and a handful of others joined at brunch time for a sumptuous spread of home cooked casseroles, quiches, baked goods, fruits, and beverages. It was a wonderful morning highlighting the best of SYTC -- fun tennis, great food, and, above all, friendship.
Our next Round Robin and Brunch is scheduled for the Second Sunday of July (July 9th, with a rain date of Sunday, July 23rd) and the theme will be “Celebrate Wimbledon”. We hope to see you there!
