Under the direction of their Head Coach Rich Shannon, The Sturgis West Varsity girls tennis team visited SYTC for a vigorous practice Wednesday May 30. With one more regular season match left before they begin play in the league playoffs, the 15-2 varsity is poised for a top seed and a possible championship. Head coach Shannon - who also serves as Head Pro at SYTC - put the team through a series of intense drills, shouting encouragement and pointers at every player throughout the afternoon.
