Four of the best tennis players Cape Cod has ever produced graced the courts of the South Yarmouth Tennis Club late Saturday afternoon for a rousing full three-set match. Club members and visitors alike were treated to some outstanding tennis and a tasty pot luck dinner. In the end, the victors (Wyeth and Mazzoni) withstood an onslaught of terrific shots and lengthy rallies.
Each player, now playing in college, cut their teeth on the courts of the South Yarmouth Tennis Club and participated in the club's Youth Tennis Instruction Program, under the direction of Club Tennis Director Rich Shannon. It's gratifying to see what great players and what good young men they have become.
