Cohen wins SCIAC award
ORANGE, Calif. – Junior Harry Cohen's impressive debut for the Chapman University men's tennis team has landed him the SCIAC Athlete of the Week award. Cohen began his Chapman career with wins in singles and doubles against Division II Biola in the Panthers return to the court.
Cohen and freshman Alex Granados took the No. 2 doubles match 6-2 for the first Chapman win of the season. Cohen then went to the No. 3 singles match and took a straight set victory. After battling to a 7-6 victory in the first set, he won the second set convincingly for the 7-6, 6-1 win.
Cohen and the Panthers return to the court at Azusa Pacific on Wednesday.
