THE PROS
Harry Cohen, SYTC Head Pro grew up in Pacific Palisades, California and was a highly ranked high school player in Southern California. He went on to play singles and doubles on the Sonoma State University tennis team until COVID-19 shut the program. Harry transferred to Chapman University in Orange, CA. and played #2 for Chapman. He received Conference Athlete of the week twice as well as being ranked #7 in the country for doubles. He just graduated with a degree in Communications. Harry has led clinics for junior and elite junior players and is eagerly looking forward to leading SYTC’s instructional program again this summer.
Max "The Beast" Francis is finishing up his Masters Degree at Assumption University. He was a three-year Team Captain and played #1 singles and doubles. Max grew up on Cape Cod and got his start playing early on the community courts in his neighborhood where he and his sister were were coached by a well-known local tennis Club Manager. Max is currently a teaching pro at Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee.
Aidan Roach grew up on Cape Cod and is a two-sport athlete having competed in both hockey and tennis in high school. When he went to college and concentrated on tennis, he became the #1 player for Curry College and was a four-year team captain. Aidan currently works as an analyst at Bain & Company in Boston. You may know his proud parents Joe and Barb Roach, long-time SYTC members.
Nick Majewski comes from a well known Cape Cod tennis family affiliated with the Mid Cape Athletic Club - Tennis and Fitness Facility. His tennis career accomplishments include being a seven-time all-conference selection, earning his 100th career victory as a senior and being a member of four NCAA Tournament teams & 2015 NE10 Champions at Merrimack College. But, the full list is much longer. Today, Nick is a teaching Pro at Oyster Harbors Club in Osterville. |
