Some of the most talented tennis players on Cape Cod participated in Saturday's first annual Best Serve on Cape Cod Challenge at the South Yarmouth Tennis Club. Luckily the rain held off until around 10:45 AM. By then all players had an opportunity to serve in both the fastest and most accurate brackets.
In the fast serve category, top honors (and bragging rights for the next twelve months) went to Patrick Wyeth with a 113.4 MPH laser. Second place winner was Aidan Roach with a 109.9 MPH rocket (pictured above.) Third place went to Paul Braude with a not too shabby 108 MPH serve.
Nash Muraya won first place in the most accurate serve category hitting the target a remarkable 3 out of 10 times. Ronnie Ndinya hit the target once to win second place.
Our thanks to Dan Reida, 2017 SYTC Club President, and owner of Bass River Chiropractic for his leadership and the significant investment and effort he put in to make this event such a success.
