Think it's easy to hit a tennis ball with the same wooden racquet that many of us grew up with? Think again. With a "sweet spot" about the size of a tennis ball, even those of us who think we have "game," were tested in this year's Woods & Whites Classic. After three abbreviated sets of no-add scoring, the victors were Debbie Norton and John Harding. A delicious meal with a variety of appetizers, salads, and grilled brats, burgers and dogs followed. Our thanks to Al & Pam Hero who organize this annual event and to Al who provides his collection of wooden racquets for use by players and grills up a tasty meal!
