The SYTC Annual Meeting took place Thursday August 21 at 4:00 PM on the SYTC patio. After attendees survived a minute of truly awful tennis humor from President Stan Werlin (“What comes before tennis? Nine-is”), Stan announced the election of Cindy Sia to the Board of Directors and continued on to praise the outstanding performance and dedication of Club Manager Steve Francis. Steve offered his thoughts on the club and the juniors program and recognized the invaluable commitment of Associate Manager Ken Huckins to SYTC. The Board of Directors reviewed the status of membership, finances, capital budgeting, special events, and the website/communications program. The meeting finished up with a discussion of the 2026-2029 dues schedule transition program, and then adjourned for all to enjoy refreshments and conversation in the positive spirit of the SYTC vibe.
